Mepilex® Transfer is a foam dressing.
INTENDED USES: For large and/or fragile wounds.
CLAIMED FEATURES: It allows the exudate to move vertically into a secondary absorbent pad. This way, the risk for maceration is minimized. To further minimize the risk, the Safetac® technology layer seals around the wound edges, preventing the exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin. Minimizes pain and trauma at dressing changes. Convenient and conformable for difficult-to-dress wounds, can be cut to suit various wound shapes. Transfers exudate away from the wound, thereby minimizing the risk of maceration. Promotes patient comfort; thin and comfortable to wear.
