Trained by hospital personnel and wound clinic nurses to perform daily dressing changes at home for my father-in-laws LLE Ulcer since December 25, 2024. He still goes into wound clinic once a week to make sure his wound is moving in the right direction. From April 2024 - December 2024 he was being seen twice a week in wound clinic only, with very minimal improvement if any. Since starting daily cleansing and dressing changes it has shrunk about 1 cm in length and width, pain management (per patient) has been much better overall, and I’ve gotten two abrasions from periwound to completely heal (scabs have fallen off, with no scarring underneath).
