Men’s Liberty Male External Catheter LS (Large Slot) Special Type with Integral Collection Chamber

Men’s Liberty Male External Catheter LS (Large Slot) Special Type with Integral Collection Chamber is a male urine collection device. CLAIMED FEATURES: Men’s Liberty offers an alternative for UI sufferers: A male external catheter that is easy to apply, discreet, more comfortable to wear, and stays put. The Men’s Liberty catheter creates a skin-friendly but secure seal around the urinary opening, with urine from leakage collected in a small pouch that fits inside the wearer’s pants. The adhesive is a proprietary medical adhesive, hydrocolloid, which is gentle to skin but holds the catheter safely in place.Men’s Liberty is an external catheter option that is more comfortable and sanitary than adult diapers, less invasive than other methods of dealing with UI.

Product Information

For fecal incontinence:
Fecal collectors are placed around the anus of bedridden persons and are designed to contain liquid stool and help protect perianal skin from irritation and maceration caused by fecal discharge

For urinary incontinence:
Men can use a drip collector for small amounts of urine leakage. This is a small pocket that fits over the penis. Wear close-fitting underwear to keep it in place. Men can also use a condom catheter device. It fits over the penis like a condom. A tube carries the urine that collects in it to a bag attached to the leg. This helps to prevent odor and skin problems.

Women can try different products, depending on the cause for their urine leakage. External devices include:
  • Foam pads that are very small and fit between your labia. You take the pad out when you need to urinate, and then put a new one in. Common brands are Miniguard, UroMed, Impress, and Softpatch.
  • A urethra cap is a silicone cap, or shield that fits in place over your urinary opening. It can be washed and used again (meatal cup). Common brands are CapSure and FemAssist.
  • Urinary pouches are designed to be worn externally (Female External Catheter) and are an alternative to indwelling catheter for bedridden females.
