Medical Adhesive Remover is a solvent that dissolves the adhesive used to affix wound care bandages, medical tapes, ostomy systems and other medical devices to the skin. Removal of these items without a medical adhesive remover may cause pain, inflammation and abrasion to your skin, as medical adhesives are sticky and hard to remove without a medical adhesive remover. As dressings, tapes and ostomy systems need to be constantly replaced, forcing removal repeatedly will damage your skin and may increase the size of an existing wound. Medical Adhesive Removers are usually sold in the liquid form (vials or spray) or on wipes.
