Wound Care Market Size

I am trying to get an accurate idea of the total amount of wound care clinics and wound care providers there are in the United States. Specifically addressing the number of outpatient clinics, and this may include independent wound care centers, wound care clinics attached to hospital systems. Additional helpful information may be total number of wound care providers (of any discipline, MD, RN, PT, ect), there are in the United States. Thank you so much!

Also, do you have any idea how many of the outpatient clinics use disposable instruments versus reusable instruments?

Wow, I am not sure there is a single resource that will give you the information that you are seeking. Part of the problem is defining a wound care clinic. Wound Care only,Hyperbaric Only both wound and hbo. Managed wound centers, free standing, plastic surgery clinics, podiatry clinics, dermatology, limb preservation etc.

Then deciding who is a wound care provider ? Dr Rn, APP, DPM, PT….Seeking info from specialty societies will not give you a true picture.

Perhaps some of the other panelists might have an opinion.

Regarding disposable instruments?????
