I would use a wound vac

I, too, would consider NPWT..but use a debridement agent under the NPWT interface( meaning the foam or gauze over the non-viable tissue that is in contact with the wound bed) one could use non woven gauze dampened with an anti microbial agent ( Dakin’s, Hypochlorus acid,Acetic Acid) or an automatic agent (hypertonic saline such as Mesalt would be my choice here) or an enzymatic agent ( collagenase) to assist in faster removal of the non-viable tissue. If access to a NPWT device that provides intermittent or continuous irrigation, then the above would not be needed.....and the latter would be the preferred method.
