WoundReference improves clinical decisions
Choose the role that best describes you
Our wound clinic at a critical access hospital is looking to develop a pressure injury prevention policy within the OR for higher risk patients. I am looking for EBP on prevention for high risk patients and scales to use to guide this treatment.

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Creating a pressure injury prevention program specifically for the OR is a great step in enhancing patient safety and improving outcomes—particularly during longer surgical procedures. WoundReference offers a wide range of evidence-based resources to support the development and implementation of such programs in acute care settings, including the OR.
