WoundReference improves clinical decisions

How am I able to find the SDS on a product? I am new to this website and still learning how to use it. I am in Hyperbaric and we are not attached to a wound clinic, but inside the hospital tucked away.

Hi Rebecca,

Safety Data Sheets are issued by the manufacturer of a product and can usually be found on the manufacturer's website.  If the product has been entered into the Go-No-Go tool in WoundReference, the SDS sheet can be found by clicking the paperclip icon next to the product's name.

  1. Go to Tools
  2. Select Go-No-Go Tool
  3. Enter the name of a product in the search box and click enter
  4. If the product displays, click the paperclip icon to the right

If the product does not display it means it has not yet had a Risk Assessment completed in WoundReference.  In this case, you can click Item Risk Assessment in the upper right screen and add the SDS as part of the process.

Here is a link to additional information on the Go-No-Go Tool:

Hope this helps!
