Thank you for your question. Please give me more details about the collar brand. As a general rule, I prefer to avoid using Velcro in the monoplace chamber.
The hyperbaric safety director needs to perform a risk assessment on this item, as there is a perceived risk of static-producing materials. This risk assessment should also include input from the Medical Director.

James, One possible solution to consider is modifying the current trach collar by eliminating the Velcro portion and using transpore (plastic) tape to secure it. This modified collar could be reused during treatment, provided that it remains clean and undamaged.
